Specifications include, but are not limited to: Emergency home repairs under the Emergency Home Repair program. The repairs under the Emergency Home Repair program should not exceed $20,000.00. In the event that estimated repairs exceed $20,000, approval must be obtained from the Department of Community Services Loan Review Board. Repairs or upgrades to homes will include, but not be limited to: • Sewer Line Replacement (Section I) (New Castle County Contractor’s License is required) • Roof replacement (Section II) (New Castle County Contractor’s License is required) • Structural repairs (Section III) (New Castle County Contractor’s License is required) • Electrical repairs (Section IV) (State of Delaware Electrical License required) • Heater/Boiler/Oil Tank Replacement (Section V) (State of Delaware HVAC or Boiler License is required) • Plumbing (Section VI) (State of Delaware Plumbing License required) • Hot Water Heater (Section VII) (State of Delaware Plumbing, HVAC, or Boiler License required)
