Specifications include, but are not limited to: A Nurse Practitioner should be assigned to the district on a daily basis (Monday through Friday), to serve the needs of students and staff. In addition to performing assessment of any medical conditions identified by either district staff, or provider nurses, the nurse practitioner is expected to perform additional on-site medical services, including but not limited to well-child examinations, athletic physicals, necessary immunizations, etc. On site services shall also be available to district staff. Services provided should also include staff physicals for substitute employees, CDL physicals for bus drivers, and TB skin tests. Services shall be provided to all students based on need, regardless of insurance coverage. The Nurse Practitioner is expected to travel throughout the district routinely. The provider will be responsible for any travel expenses incurred by the nurse practitioner. The District will coordinate with provider staff to ensure students are available to the Nurse Practitioner to receive necessary primary care services.
