Specifications include, but are not limited to: One or more firms for miscellaneous Test and Air Balance services. These services will be utilized to support the UT System in the planning, construction, renovation, activation, and occupancy of higher education, research, and healthcare related facility and infrastructure projects. This will include varying scopes of services depending on the individual project or program needs and may include, but are not limited to the following: 1.3.1. As described in the attachment titled “Section 23 05 93 Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Services,” provide design and submittal reviews and comments, attend and participate at design review meetings, provide on-site construction inspections, perform System Test and Balance duties, and create, compile, and submit reports. 1.3.2. The technical services provider shall respond to requests for service within a maximum of 24 (twenty-four) hours after notice from the Resident Construction Manager (RCM) or Construction Inspector (CI) (this notification may be delegated to the contractor at the direction of the RCM). Prior scheduling of work should be the goal for all the services; however, the nature of the construction process will necessitate the ability to respond quickly and with adequate staff to requests for service within the 24-hour maximum.
