Specifications include, but are not limited to: Architectural Services for the expansion of the Lynn Bennett Early Childhood Educational Center. The Early Childhood Education Center at UNLV Maryland Campus will expand their existing facility to double the capacity of students to meet the current demand. The proposed project will include approximately 26,000 s.f. of new building area and 30,000 s.f. of outdoor improvements. An architectural feasibility study has been completed where numerous design options were studied. The final approved plan has advantages of maintaining a manageable contiguous campus by creating clusters of classrooms and outdoor areas by age group, consolidating administration and minimizing site impacts. The final plan will allow for operations to continue during construction. UNLV is seeking an architect to lead an A/E team to provide complete design services from schematic design through construction documentation for permitting and bidding purposes. Construction Administration will be contracted and completed under a future phase of work. The feasibility study plans will serve as the basis of design.
