Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Bluebird Trailhead, Grant Creek Road: A Public Access Easement defines the bounds of the trailhead parking area. Design for a parking lot with 1 ADA-compliant parking space and its entry into the City Right-of-Way on Grant Creek Road is desired. Parking area and trailhead facilities will meet minimum standards of a Primary Trailhead as defined in the 2010 Conservation Lands Management Plan (see Exhibits). Scope will also include a conceptual design of a safe pedestrian crossing of Grant Creek Road at Stonebridge Road. All designs will require review and approval from the landowner and City Public Works Department.; • Rattlesnake Greenway Trailhead, Duncan Drive: A Public Access Easement defines the bounds of the trailhead parking area. Design should include 2 ADA-compliant parking spaces and its entry into the City Right-of-Way on Duncan Drive. The design should attempt to preserve as many existing trees as possible on the site. Parking area and trailhead facilities will meet minimum standards of a Primary Trailhead as defined in the 2010 Conservation Lands Management Plan (see Exhibits). Scope of work will include reviewing an existing conceptual drawing of the space. All designs will require review and approval from the landowner and City Public Works Department.; • Hellgate Gardens Trailhead, East Broadway Street: This trailhead exists on City of Missoula Property adjacent to State Right-of-Way along East Broadway Street. An adopted Master Plan and draft grading plan from 2015 help define the scope of this site. Parking area and trailhead facilities will meet minimum standards of a Secondary Trailhead as defined in the 2010 Conservation Lands Management Plan (see Exhibits). Scope of work will include reviewing and finalizing the draft designs in light of other planning that has occurred since 2015, including the East Missoula-Highway 200 Corridor Plan. One ADA-compliant parking space and ADA access from the Right-of-way into the Park should be included in the final design. All designs will require review and approval from the Montana Department of Transportation and City Public Works Department.
