Specifications include, but are not limited to: maintenance and janitorial services for the Hailstone Rest Area to provide a clean, neat and safe rest stop for travelers.; 1. Mop floors. Scrubbing is the only maintenance required for the tile floors. A brush must be used to prevent buildup of dirt and mildew in grout lines.; 2. Clean sinks, faucets, toilets, water fountains, hand dryers, mirrors, and other fixtures; 3. Empty garbage receptacles; 4. Fill soap dispensers; Cleaning duties to be done once a day: 1. Spot clean walls and bathroom stalls; 2. Clean all doors used by the public; 3. Clean windows and sills (lower panels). Windows above this point are to be cleaned as needed or twice per year at a minimum.; 4. Vacuum recessed mats in entry.; 5. Clean glass surface of display table (south rest area).; Maintenance duties to be done once a day: 1. Garbage and litter pickup on the rest area grounds including the parking lots. Garbage is to be placed in the dumpster provided. NDDOT will arrange for disposal of garbage. Inform NDDOT if garbage overflows dumpster.; 2. Repair vandalism (report vandalism to NDDOT); 3. Replace burnt light bulbs; 4. Report yard light outages; 5. Clean picnic tables and benches; Cleaning and Maintenance duties to be covered as needed or at least weekly: 1. Mow grass, if at least three inches high (according to attached plans).; 2. Weed landscaping as needed; 3. Prune landscaping to maintain trees and shrubs; 4. Clean garbage containers; 5. Clean storage and mechanical rooms; Maintenance duties to be covered monthly: 1. Inspect fire extinguishers and emergency lighting; Cleaning and Maintenance duties to be covered quarterly: 1. Dust lights in lobby.; 2. Clean recessed light in rest rooms
