Specifications include, but are not limited to: Employer Services Talent Development. Talent Development cultivates a continuous learning and development environment to ensure that an employer's workforce can adapt to globalization and internal changes. Talent Development services include technical skills training, essential workplace skills training; adult education and literacy; sector partnership development, and talent management. The Talent Development team's purpose is to add value through strategic partnerships and projects and help build an agile and resilient workforce for an employer with adaptive workforce skills and increases an employer's competitiveness by ensuring the employer has a skilled workforce. The Talent Development team must: • Be composed of Talent Advisors, Recruiters, Coaches, Training Facilitators, Project Specialists, and Financial Specialists, stationed in the central office and works collaboratively with field Business Consultants to design solutions that will fit employers' needs. • Reach out to small, medium, and large employers throughout the region and find solutions to help promote a more skilled workforce. • Take the lead projects that can lead to customized training for employers, such as—Registered Apprenticeship, On-the-Job Training, and current work training that will help upskill or reskill individuals. • Manage the life cycle of training for the employer until completion. Along with tailoring solutions for employers, this team of experts will also identify and assess all customers for eligibility with these initiatives. • Act as the primary arranger and provider of outplacement for employers experiencing layoffs or downsizing. • Suggest solutions for a customer that do not include Workforce Solutions funds, include Workforce Solutions and or use other public or private source funds, or consist solely of Workforce Solutions funds. Workforce Solutions funds cannot cover 100% of the solution's cost; therefore, the employer contributes to the intern's supervision and training.
