Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. The 250 tonnage figure is to be used only for the purpose of submitting a bid and determining a bid bond amount; actual usage for the 2022 asphalt season may vary from the estimate. b. The City of Great Falls Chip and Seal Program will start on or about July 1, 2022, and end December 31, 2022. c. The bid shall be by the ton at the supplier’s plant to include hauling costs delivered to predetermined locations within the City of Great Falls MT. Supplier shall have emulsion sample test results on hand and available upon request of the City of Great Falls Street Division. Bidder shall be responsible for proper product, temperature and consistency. d. The City Street Manager or his designated representative shall place orders and provide delivery locations with the successful bidder Monday through Friday by the close of prior business day. e. The normal tonnage requests for delivery will be approximately 0 to 35 tons. f. Schedule and duration shall be dependent on weather and equipment breakdowns. g. The listed quantities are based on preliminary project programming, which is subject to change. The City reserves the right to vary the quantities of each line item and may alter tonnage without additional price negotiation.
