Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Bowling Green, Kentucky Police Department is now accepting proposals for the purchase and installation of an in-car video system for one-hundred six (106) police vehicles and one-hundred body-warn camera system for (100) officers. MINIMUM In-Car Video System Hardware Requirements 1. Dual-view dash panoramic camera to provide views of up to 3 lanes of traffic and capable of Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) Artificial Intelligence (AI) processing, minimum 12x digital zoom, 360-degree swivel mount. 2. Color interior camera for rear seat with infrared illumination for night view. 3. Capability to provide ALPR Hotlist Alerts linked to National Crime Information Center (NCIC) databases to officers Mobile Digital Computer (MDC) with audible and visual alerts on the MDC screen. 4. Secure solid-state storage, wireless communications via cellular or Wi-Fi and footage can be uploaded over LTE or Wi-Fi without the MDC. a. Video offload over cellular or Wi-Fi without the MDC. 5. Capable of activation by light bar activation, speed threshold or activation of body camera within a minimum 30 feet or any other wireless triggering device that could activate the body camera within a minimum 30-foot range. 6. Capability to retain a minimum of 24 hours of video for each camera within the vehicle. 7. All system components should have a minimum operating temperature range of -40- degrees Celsius to +70-degrees Celsius. 8. Applications support for Windows 10 with support for Windows 11 within 12 months. 9. Any equipment to be utilized outside the vehicle must have a minimum IP67 rating. 10. Minimum of 10 inputs for 12V triggers 11. Support for Wi-Fi 12. Support for LTE or 5G cellular technologies. 13. Capability to live stream video from in-car system via a web interface and/or mobile app.
