Specifications include, but are not limited to: Community EngagementWorking with the assistance of an advisory committee appointed by the ParticipatingJurisdiction, the Successful Proposer or Proposers must gather publicly available dataand develop general information about how to engage traditionally underservedcommunities. Profiles must include mapping and description of limitations and/orbarriers that may prevent (currently or historically) these communities’ participationin planning processes.The Successful Proposer or Proposers shall engage low-income and other traditionallyunderserved community members through in-person and virtual events, as well asprinted materials, to determine key services, origin/destination, and barrier analysesto identify gaps in facilities and operations that prevent users from consideringalternate transportation as a legitimate alternative to single-occupancy car travel. Alloutreach and events shall be documented; the data collected shall be provided to theParticipating Jurisdiction for future reference and use.
