Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide automated employment and income verification services for the purposes of determining eligibility for receipt of assistance, identifying unreported or incorrectly reported income, detecting and preventing fraud, and establishing benefit overpayments for SNAP, TANF, GA, RCA, and POC. Four agencies within DHSS will utilize this service: Division of Social Services (DSS), Division of Medicaid and Medical Assistance (DMMA), Division of Management Services - Audit and Recovery Management Services (ARMS), and Division of Management Services - Quality Control (QC). These agencies will access the automated employment and income verification services for the purposes noted above.
