Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough (MSB) is requesting bids from contractors to provide repair services for wind damage to several MSB facilities. Repairs involve the following: siding/painting at multiple locations in the Palmer area. 1.01 General A. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, shipping, and incidentals required to complete the Work. B. The contractor is responsible for verifying the existing conditions. C. The contractor is responsible for proper removal and disposal of all waste, debris and excess materials. D. The MSB dumpsters are not to be used. E. The MSB and Station equipment will be protected from repair activities. F. The facility list and locations: Station 3-5 (siding) 8200 Turner Rd, Palmer, AK 99645 DSJ Borough Main office (siding) 350 Dahlia Ave, Palmer, AK 99645 G. Electronic copy (PDF) of material submittals H. Siding materials will be primed and painted prior to installation. Siding material and paint color to match existing at the location where the repairs are being performed. I. MSB preferred paint manufactures: Rodda or Sherwin Williams. Priming products will be from the same manufactures as the top coat. 1.02 Delivery, Storage, and Handling A. All materials and equipment storage and security is the responsibility of the contractor.
