Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide materials and labor for a 25' x 25' bedroom addition to the Airport Fire Station located at 523 Airport Road. Phase I general specifications are described below for the following two (2) bedroom addition: Demo and remove the existing asphalt and concrete ramp Remove the existing cast iron sewer drain and replace it with a PVC sewer drain Relocate the two (2) water valves Prepare the ground for the concrete block retaining wall and 25' x 25' concrete slab Build the concrete block retaining wall and pour the concrete slab Frame the new addition with 2” x 6” exterior metal studs 20-gauge Install two (2) windows The net clear opening shall have a minimum of 5 sq ft The net clear height of the opening is no more than 44” above the floor Install one (1) 36” left-hand inswing fiberglass exterior door Insulate exterior walls with R19 insulation. For the exterior, install metal “R” panels Tie the roof line of the new structure to the existing fire station. Match and install new asphalt shingles on the new addition The contractor is required to clean up the job site at the end of each day unless otherwise approved All work must be completed during normal business hours Weekends must be approved by Hot Springs Fire Department The contractor must obtain all required permits through the City of Hot Springs Planning Department
