Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is seeking Bids for the construction of two (2) subsurface infiltration retrofit projects located within the O.N.E. district of the City of Burlington. The projects are located in the vicinity of Rose Street at Cedar Street (“Project 08”), and School Street at North Street (“Project 11”). The City is seeking qualified construction teams that can perform all aspects of the retrofit projects including excavation, traffic control, site maintenance, tree removal, landscaping, installation of subsurface stormwater infiltration systems, installation of subsurface infrastructure, installation of curbing, sidewalks, paving restoration, connecting to existing City subsurface sewage and stormwater infrastructure and all other tasks necessary for a complete project in accordance with the contract documents. Contract Drawings accompany these bid documents which depict the proposed work. Note that the contract drawings depict additional subsurface infiltration projects that are not to be included in this bid, the projects that are associated to this Invitation for Bids are Project 08 and Project 11 only.; a. Additional Requirements: Perform work in accordance with the attached City ordinances (Exhibits D thru F).; Perform work in accordance with the applicable rules, regulations, codes, and ordinances of local, state and federal authorities, and in accordance with the requirements of public utility corporations having jurisdiction over the work.; Submit Exhibit G – Pre-Qualification of Construction Contractor Application; The contractor is required to submit an Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control (EPSC) permit and implement the practices laid out therein to minimize discharge of sediment from the site.
