Specifications include, but are not limited to: Rhode Island Contract No. 2021-CH-054, Federal Aid Project Nos. STPRESF(438) & STPG-RESF(439), includes the pavement resurfacing of two (2) roadway segments: Boston Neck Road (Route 1A) and South County Trail (Route 2) within the Towns of North Kingstown, South Kingstown, Exeter, Narragansett and Richmond, RI.; The work under this Contract shall primarily consist of, but is not limited to: micromilling and resurfacing, repairing concrete base cracks, installing bituminous berm, ADA compliant wheelchair ramps and concrete sidewalks, pavement markings, traffic signal systems, guardrail end treatments, and storm water treatment units, cleaning and adjusting drainage pipes and structures, and all other incidentals necessary to complete the Project.; This item of work shall include Removing and Disposing of Pedestrian Pushbuttons and associated pedestrian signs at locations indicated on the Traffic Signal Plans, in accordance with the Rhode Island Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (Amended 2018), and/or as directed by the Engineer, in accordance with these Specifications. The location is at the intersection of South County Trail and Exeter Road in the town of Exeter.; This item of work shall include Removing and Disposing Speed Limit Flashing Sign and Foundations and restoring soil and grass seed at locations indicated on the Traffic Signal Plans, in accordance with the Rhode Island Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (Amended 2018), and/or as directed by the Engineer, in accordance with these Specifications. The locations are in advance of a new signal to be installed at the intersection of Route 1A Boston Neck Road at Hamilton Allenton Road/Salisbury Avenue; and also north and south of the intersection of Boston Neck Road at Fairway Drive, in the town of North Kingstown.
