Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project (A): Construction of the DPW Wash Bay Project (A) is to complete construction of and weather-tight the proposed DPW Wash Bay in accordance with the Conceptual Site Plan provided by JCE. To include rough carpentry, waterproofing and moisture protection insulation and chalking, roofing, doors and hardware, overhead doors, wood framing system and exterior sheathing, red cedar siding, ceiling framing and sheathing. All necessary permits, insurance, including, but not limited to liability and workers’ compensation policies are the sole responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor shall be in compliance with federal law and the laws of the State of Rhode Island. The Contractor must provide surety bond prior to the start of any work related to this RFP, of not less than the cost of materials plus labor for the completion of all work described herein. Project (B): DPW Wash Bay Electrical Work Project (B) is to complete the required electrical work for the completion of the proposed DPW Wash Bay to include mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, and Fire Alarm installation. An electrical installation of 1 subpanel and two (2) 220 and eight (8) 110 interior outlets, eight (8) 110 exterior outlets, eight (8) waterproof interior shop-light lighting fixtures, and three (3) exterior spotlights. HVAC is to be extended from the existing structure into the proposed Wash Bay. Existing electrical within the DPW garage will be extended to provide electrical conduit for the installation of fire alarms in accordance with state fire code. Fire Alarm fixtures must be provided by the bidder.
