Specifications include, but are not limited to: Inspection, testing & maintenance services for kitchen, dry chemical, & special hazard fire extinguishing systems & for fire extinguishers at the Durham campus. • Inspect, test, recharge and maintain all dry and wet chemical extinguishing systems in full compliance with the current versions of NFPA 17 and NFPA 17A, respectively. Services shall include without limitation all monthly inspections, semi-annual maintenance, hydrostatic and other tests, recharges, and documentation cited in or required by the referenced standards. See Appendix D - Kitchen and Specialty Fire Extinguishing Systems Inventory. • Repair services as required. • Develop within three months of contract award and maintain continuously thereafter a current fire extinguishing system inventory, using Appendix D as a starting point. For each fire extinguishing system, the inventory shall include the following: o Location (building name and room number) for each cylinder comprising the system o Size o Type o Year of manufacturer o Dates of the most recent and next required semi-annual maintenance, hydrostatic test, other special requirements, as applicable for the type of cylinder • Inventory shall be in Microsoft Excel or Access format and shared with UNH via UNH’s cloud storage service. • Formal/detailed reports shall be prepared and submitted electronically via UNH’s cloud storage service for each inspection/test/service call regardless of whether required by referenced NFPA standards.
