Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to establish a contract that will create a revenue stream to offset maintenance/operating costs for various INDOT assets for the benefit of the traveling public through the implementation of a comprehensive sponsorship and acknowledgement program. The selected firm shall plan, implement, market, and manage a full-service sponsorship program. Oversight and marketing of the INDOT Adopt-A-Highway program, a volunteer program, is required. Other recognition-based voluntary programs that can reduce INDOT-incurred maintenance/operating costs will also be evaluated. The assets available for sponsorship may include, but not be limited to rest areas and welcome centers, acknowledgement highway signage for specific lengths of highway and bridges, scenic areas, toll plazas, co-branding of INDOT vests/uniforms, 511 signage, maintenance vehicles/equipment, and select buildings
