Specifications include, but are not limited to: • In collaboration with UNMHS/HS leadership, design and guide a structured, best practice, efficient approach to a comprehensive planning process, including a pre-planning phase where compiling of previous strategic planning work, prior data from other plans, facility plans and priorities, and current strategic plans of various operations and divisions are reviewed. • The planning process should also include defining project governance, leadership/ork groups/teams and roles, timelines, milestones, etc. resulting in an ambitious and achievable 20-year strategic vision with 5+ year goals. • Review existing UNMHS/HS long-term facility plans and priorities which will help The University of New Mexico Integrated Campus Plan (ICP). • Identify an approach to strategic planning (i.e., future-back, mixture of top-down/bottom up, or other) that best serves the needs of a growing and expanding academic health sciences and our health system. • Describe how you facilitate strategic planning. • Describe your strategy for engaging students, staff, faculty, stakeholders, and community members through crowdsourcing technology (UNM has Idea Scale), focus groups, and online surveys. • Facilitate most critical strategic planning meetings and provide leadership, direction and expert consultation and advice throughout the process. • Ensure delivery of a clear, easily operationalized, measurable, financially feasible, strategic 2 planning roadmap, which should include: a timeline, implementation and evaluation structure and methodology. • Provide a summary document of the Strategic Plan, including Executive Summary. • Provide a dashboard model for monitoring the plan’s progress (of note UNMHS/HS has a Smartsheet license that could be used for this project). • Provide an implementation plan with timelines.
