Specifications include, but are not limited to: Brandywine School District needs a comprehensive program of individualized educational, psychological, and social/emotional/behavioral services to regular and special education qualifying students at the middle school and high school levels who are recommended for a higher level of support services than what the traditional high school can provide through a multi-tiered system of support model. This program will provide students with academic, behavioral, and social interventions for as long as necessary until the student can successful transition back to comprehensive high school classes and routines. The District seeks a program that includes staff that can administratively lead and oversee the programs.; The vendor will be provided space in a traditional middle and high school building of the Brandywine School District.; Resumes of key staff (or job descriptions for staff yet to be hired) must be included in the proposal. All staff teaching core academic areas (as well as special education) shall hold a valid Delaware teaching certificate. The District reserves the right to request any changes in staff with a 30-day notice except in emergencies. All staff must obtain a criminal background check from the Delaware State Police, complete a Child Protection Registry Request to the Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families, and complete the Brandywine School District Health Certification form that includes a tuberculosis screening.; Award of this proposal is contingent upon available funding. Supplemental funding for additional summer programming may be available.; Services will be provided to all students who are recommended based on IEP team decisions or through a multi-tiered system of support that includes processes and procedures outlined by the District Higher Level of Services. It is expected that the number of seats for the program will not exceed fifteen (15).
