Specifications include, but are not limited to: (1) Existing sidewalks and curb/gutters are to remain as is, except where noted to be removed and replaced. The existing concrete pad is to remain as is alongside East Terry Street. (1A) Remove existing pavement markings on concrete pad alongside East Terry Street. (2) Remove existing fence, post, stumps, bases and gates. (4) Leave section of fence as is. (7) Extend the existing approach 25’ to the East. Remove and replace the existing concrete curb/gutter and sidewalks. Clean cut and patch asphalt. (10) Remove existing stairs and ramp. (11) Patch/repair the existing concrete at the edge of the existing deck. Grind and patch concrete surface at the door into the food pantry where it is spalled. (12) Remove all items attached, or embedded, in the existing concrete foundation wall at the front of the building with the exception of the vents. The vents are to remain and be painted black. Remove anchor bolts to a depth of 3”. Chip out all existing openings in the wall to provide a clean surface to patch back to. Grind the entire wall and edge of concrete deck to remove loose debris, spalling, etc., prior to patching/ refinishing the wall. After an inspection on the wall preparation finish the wall with a Dryvit (or equivalent) embedded mesh finish system. (13) Remove the concrete slab, scarify and compact the existing base. Infill the hole with 3/4” minus base as required to meet grade prior to placing asphalt. (14) Remove items embedded in the asphalt. Inspect the entire area that receives new asphalt for such items. Infill the voids with 3/4” minus base and compact. (15) Remove the drain rock and soil to 8” below grade. Place and compact 6” of 3/4” minus base prior to asphalt. (16) Remove existing asphalt. Scarify and compact the existing base. Remove soft spots and infill with 3/4” minus base prior to placing 2” of new asphalt. Provide pavement markings as shown on other drawing. (17) Clean cut existing asphalt prior to new paving. (19) New stairs to the South.
