Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Engagement of a licensed Architect. Architect shall review existing conditions with the conceptual plan and develop specifications, plans, and requirements as needed by the City Project Manager and for Contractor’s use in permitting and construction.; 2. It will be the Contractor’s responsibility to ensure the Fire and Life Safety Systems for the Architect’s permitted plans meet code and are constructed and programmed by Johnson Controls Inc. accordingly.; 3. Demolition of existing office partitions, doors, and frames.; 4. Partial demolition and reconstruction of suspended ceiling system. The existing grid in Office 345, 351, and 353 are different than that of adjacent Hallway 348. Remove and reconstruct grid to match Hallway 338 and 348.; 5. Construction of a new wall at Room 352 to create an enclosed office. Repurpose doors from demolition for office doors. ; 6. Engagement of a licensed Mechanical Engineer. Engineer shall review existing mechanical systems and settings with the conceptual plan and develop specification, plans, and requirements as needed by the City Project Manager and for Contractor’s use in permitting and construction.; 7. Work associated with the relocation, addition, resizing, demolition, etc. of mechanical systems and settings will be defined by the Mechanical Engineer.; 8. Relocation or consolidation of thermostats and O2 sensors. City Hall has a Building Automation System therefore any work associated with thermostats and O2 sensors must be coordinated with City Project Manager in advance.; 9. Reuse and redistribute existing lighting fixtures as needed to provide lighting meeting work area standards. Lighting fixtures have been discontinued.; 10. Relocation/consolidation of lighting controls and daylight harvesting sensors.
