Specifications include, but are not limited to: BPUB will contract with a Firm to provide services that will include, but not be limited to, the scope as described in Technical Specifications: This section describes the necessary work to remove, contain, and dispose of ACM as per federal and state requirements. Also, Firm must perform a site visit to better assess the “work area”.; 1. The Abatement Contractor shall carefully inspect areas listed in Appendix A; arrive at estimates of ACM to be removed; and determine the "work area" site conditions accessibility, "prepping" area requirements, and access routes to the facility.; 2. The Abatement Contractor shall be restricted to designated portions of the building and shall keep all equipment, vehicles and portable structures necessary confined to these designated areas.; 3. It is the Abatement Contractor's responsibility to leave the areas indicated in paragraph "Work Area" free of identified asbestos material.; 4. The Abatement Contractor shall submit with his bid the Scope of Work to remove the items in Appendix "A", based on his site survey. Each sub-item listed in Appendix "A" shall be addressed to insure that the Abatement Contractor has seen them all.; 5. The Abatement Contractor may have access to the work area during daylight hours. Contractor work schedules would have to be coordinated with the Owner and would be subject to his approval.; 6. Portions of the building will be occupied during the abatement process. The portion of the building that is under “abatement” will be under containment. The building is partitioned off to allow for continued operations in occupied areas of the building and the HVAC units are in separate zones.; 7. Owner will provide electrical power and water on-site.
