Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Perform monthly shredding of all Collin College confidential documents. Materials are to be attended by a company employee or physically secured from unauthorized access before destruction. All materials are to be secured in containers during transportation to company vehicle to prevent loss of material or unauthorized access. All material shall be destroyed on-site at time of collection. Paper is to be destroyed by equipment that meets a security level for shredding confidential documents. Vendor shall keep containers maintained and in good working order, cleaning containers (if necessary), and providing replacement containers upon request of District during the term of the contract. On occasion, container quantity and size adjustments may need to be made by District. The Registrar/Dean of Admissions and/or the Plant Operations Managers will notify supplier of the changes. Containers shall remain the vendor’s property during all of the contract period. Containers shall be uniformly marked and labeled for deposit of “Confidential Documents for Destruction”. Estimated container quantities per campus as follows: Collin Higher Education Center – 10) secure consoles, 5) 64-gal totes; McKinney Campus – 9) secure consoles, 21) 64-gal totes, 4) 96-gal totes; Courtyard Center – 3) secure consoles, 3) 96-gal totes; Frisco Campus – 28) secure consoles, 9) 64-gal totes; 2) Perform bulk record shredding of all Collin College campus confidential documents on an “as needed” basis. This service shall be for boxes pulled from records storage. Price for service shall be based on box pickup per pound. Arrangements shall be made by requesting department with the vendor and service will be done during regular daytime business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am until 5:00pm.; 3) A schedule for monthly pickups shall be provided by the vendor to the Registrar/Director of Admissions and each campus specific Facility Plant Operations Manager upon the beginning of the contract and at the beginning of each renewal period. Each campus location will have a different day and time for pick-up. Any changes to the schedule shall be communicated within 24 hours prior to the scheduled time by the vendor to the Registrar/Dean of Admissions and to the campus specific Facility Plant Operations Manager.; 4) All 65-gallon, 96-gallon totes and secure containers shall have locking capability. Totes shall be wheeled.
