Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of North Dakota, through Minot State University is seeking a qualified contractor to provide packing supplies, disassembly, and/or moving services for the relocation of Hartnett Hall. Harnett Hall is being completely renovated, therefore everything must be packed and moved to other locations either on campus or to an offsite location. The move can start as early as May 21st but must be completed before June 6th. The MSU departments will be packing up their areas but will likely need assistance. At this time, we do not know how much assistance will be needed. The contractor will need to supply the resources necessary to complete the move. The items to be disassembled and moved include, but are not limited to desks, cubicles, chairs, tables, filing cabinets, information technology equipment, artwork and other miscellaneous items. The contractor will need to move the items back into the newly renovated Hartnett Hall sometime between November 2023 and August 2024.; a. Contractor shall protect all surfaces (walls, floors, door facings, elevators, etc.) from damage by providing adequate building protection at no additional cost. The contractor shall notify MSU in writing of any pre-existing damage to furnishings, equipment, surfaces, etc., prior to the move and receive verification from the MSU contact. Once the move is completed the contractor and MSU contact shall inspect for any damage caused by the move. Any damage (scratches, punctures, dents, tape residue, stains, etc.) caused by the contractor shall be repaired or replaced at the contractor’s expense within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of notice.; b. Contractor shall not exceed the recommended load limits for the elevators and specific elevators may be required to be used for the move.; c. All equipment shall be transported in a manner that provides protection from damage, moisture, dust, and shock related to movement. In addition, office equipment and furniture shall not be stacked.; d. The contractor shall be responsible for the items when they are released by the State to the contractor for the services.; e. All packaging provided shall be new.
