Specifications include, but are not limited to: Proposals should demonstrate the proposer’s understanding of: A. the federal Perkins program, Texas state Perkins program, state plan elements and implementation. B. local student, parent, CTE teacher, CTE administrator, CTE counselor, and other CTE stakeholder information and guidance needs. C. Texas CTE programs of study, and successful local program implementation requirements and best practices. D. CTE local advisory committee development, recruitment, and management requirements and best practices. E. CTE local work-based learning (WBL) program design, development, implementation, and management requirements and best practices. F. Special education local equity program design, development, implementation, and management requirements and best practices. G. Texas state career clusters and related program of study occupations. H. Design concepts to clearly, concisely and as comprehensible as possible, CTE information.
