Specifications include, but are not limited to: 3.1.1.1 Vendor shall provide qualified, trained security guards to provide the following services including but not limited to providing security services for buildings, employees, visitors, customers, vendors, emergency response, station monitoring and other related security services. 3.1.1.2 Vendor must provide security guard services for the Martinsburg regional office 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday and 8am to 12:30pm Saturday. 3.1.1.3 Vendor must provide security guard services for the Charles Town regional office 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. 3.1.1.4 Vendor must provide security guard services for the Moundsville regional office 8:30am to 5:30 Monday through Friday. 3.1.1.5 Security Guards must be 18 years of age or older. 3.1.1.6 Security Guards must have a high school diploma or equivalent written examination. 3.1.1.7 All potential security guards proposed for service under this contract must have a complete background check performed by the vendor at the vendor’s sole cost. The background check will include but not be limited to: 1. A credit check 2. Confirmation of previous employment 3. Verification of references 4. Criminal record check on the state and federal level 5. Driver’s license verification and background information 6. Fingerprint validation 3.1.1.8 All security guards submitted by the vendor for service under this contract must have no record of convictions for criminal offenses and must be acceptable to the agency. 3.1.1.9 A copy of the fingerprint validation report shall be submitted to the agency when the security guard is assigned to the contract. Under no circumstances shall a guard be assigned to this contract without the fingerprint validation report first being submitted to the agency. 3.1.1.10 The vendor shall present the results of the background check to the agency for consideration prior to assigning any security guard to perform under this contract.
