Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project will include mapping out the existing sewer lines, running cameras to observe current conditions, identifying deficiencies, providing recommendations on future repairs, and developing different options for future improvements. A partial campus utility map was completed in 2020 and would be the basis for adding information from this investigation. Map to be delivered in cad, pdf, and mylar print formats with accompanying manual with condition information. Based on the age of the facility and its organic growth there will be quite a bit of investigative work to determine the locations of existing utilities and whether abandoned utilities are still in place. Various methods (tracer cameras, GPR, etc.) are anticipated to be required to complete the utility locate. Utility locating and investigation services would be held under the design team’s contract.
