Chlorine AWWA Standard B301- 10 or the latest revision and Caustic Soda AWWA Standard B501-08 or the latest revision.; Product Information: Composition: Material shall be a clear, light-yellow liquid containing 15% to 15.6% chlorine by volume at point of delivery. It shall have no visible cloudiness, impurities or sediment. It shall contain no soluble materials or organic substances in quantities of producing deleterious or injurious effects on the health of those consuming water treated with the liquid sodium hypochlorite. It shall not contain more than 0.15% insoluble matter by weight. The total free alkali shall not exceed 1.5% by weight. The pH shall be 11.9 to 13. The delivered product shall meet the following contaminant concentration limits reported in ppm: Bromate <100; Cadmium <0.03; Calcium 13.00 max; Chlorate <2000; Chromium <0.03; Cobalt <0.03; Copper <0.03; Iron 0.50 max; Stability: This material shall be stable so as not to degrade to less than 11.5% by weight strength within 30 full days of receipt of totes/load with product being stored in an outdoor environment. Freezing point of product shall not be > -3 degrees Fahrenheit. The delivered product shall have a filtration time of 3 minutes or less for 1000 ml.
