Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All new metal roof panels shall span a minimum of three purlins.; 2. No remaining panels shall span less than three purlins.; 3. All butyl tape sealant exposed by the removal of a metal roofing panel shall be removed from the metal roofing panel it is adhered to. New butyl sealant tape shall be installed with tight butt joints to existing butyl tape sealant, with non-skinning butyl sealant applied to the juncture of the new and existing butyl tape sealant.; a. Non-skinning butyl sealant shall be applied to any butyl tape sealant of upslope panels lifted to accomplish the localized repair.; 4. All metal roof panel repairs shall be installed to comply with the appilicable requirements and recommendations of the current installation manual.; 5. Where cutting of the existing metal roof panels is necessary to achieve the repair, all cuts shall be treated with a rust inhibiting paint and primer.; Replacement of 500 existing metal roof panel fasteners that are loose, corroding, with compromised gaskets or other issues should be anticipated.; Rehabilitate 2,750 square feet of corrosion of the metal roofing panels.; Remove approximately 45 linear feet of failing tape repair to the metal roof panel end laps in the northeast quadrant.
