Specifications include, but are not limited to: Waste Oil, Coolant and Brake Fluid: A. Contractor shall remove (in appropriate manner) transport, and properly dispose of used oil, used coolant and used brake fluid.; B. Contractor shall test all used oil to check for contamination.; C. Contractor shall recycle the used oil to absolve the State from any inherent hazardous material liability.; Engine Oil, Transmission and Fuel Filters: A. Contractor shall remove, transport, and properly dispose of used engine oil, transmission and fuel filters.; B. Contractor shall properly dispose of used oil filters (engine oil and transmission and fuel filters) in an environmentally sound manner, conforming to all Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Health and Safety regulations.; C. Container size for engine oil filters and transmission filters shall be 55-gallon Department of Transportation (DOT) approved with lid and belt ring.;; D. Container size for fuel filters shall be 15-gallon DOT approved with lid and belt ring.; Storage Containers and Pick Up Schedule: A. Upon request, Contractor must provide appropriate storage containers. Estimated storage containers are 5/15/55 gallon drums/tanks.; B. Type and size of oil tank/drum/storage containers may vary per location.; C. Contractor shall verify with individual location of their specific needs. ; Miscellaneous Items for Pick Up: A. Pillows, kitty litter, towels/rags used in the absorption of waste oil shall be picked up as needed/requested.
