Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State is seeking competitive pricing for a one year Open Term Contract for Corrosion Inhibited Solid Chemical De-Icer to be delivered statewide. All pricing shall be FOB destination, additional shipping or delivery charges will not apply. Product bid shall be equal to or exceed specifications of Ice Kicker, Ice Slicer-RS/Super Blend Plus/CB, or any other product listed on CR’s QPL under categories 4B and 4C. Proof, satisfactory to the State, must be provided by Bidder to show that any alternate article proposed is equal to, or exceeds the bid specifications in design and performance. Complete and detailed comparative documentation for product other than requested in this solicitation is required to be submitted with bid. Equivalent items may be subject to performance testing and acceptance of alternate product(s) will be determined by the Department of Transportation. Failure to comply with this stipulation may be cause for non-acceptance of bid.
