Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1. The Consultant shall: Propose a web-based customizable off the shelf system that allows the program operators to enter their planned menus and production records daily. The system must be able to identify missing meal components and/or minimum portion sizes in accordance with federal regulations, rules, and guidance on meal patterns and serving sizes for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service (USDA FNS) School Nutrition Programs (SNP) (School Breakfast Program (SBP), National School Lunch Program (NSLP), , Afterschool Snack, and Seamless Summer Option (SSO)), Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). 2.2. Provide an implementation schedule 2.2.1. The State’s preferred timeline would tentatively be as follows: • May 2022 – October 2022: Customization of the system to meet State requirements • October 2022 – April 2023: System testing and continued customization of the system, Testing shall include at a minimum, integration, functional, performance, and load testing • July 2023: System Launch • August 2023: Provide training to the State and school\local agency • October 2023 – September 30, 2024: Continued Support and Maintenance 2.1.2. The implementation schedule should indicate how the Consultant will complete the required deliverables and services and address the following: • Proposed project management techniques • Tasks to be performed (within phase as applicable) • Deliverables created by each task • Dates by which each task will be completed (dates should be indicated in terms of elapsed time from project inception) • Resources assigned to each task • Required State support • Show task dependencies • Training
