Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Lebanon operates a Solid Waste Facility at 370 Plainfield Rd in West Lebanon, NH. onsite brush is received and stored. Brush includes trunks, branches, logs, and twigs. There are no stumps in the pile. The brush pile should be ground in the Spring and Fall. Typically, the pile is approximately 4,000-5,000 yds3. Brush needs to be ground and left onsite to be used in the Lebanon composting program. The location for ground material will be adjacent to the current brush pile. Construction and Demolition Debris (C&D) is accepted at the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility; to be ground and used as alternative daily cover within the landfill. C&D includes dimensional lumber, plywood, clapboards, and other material generated from the construction or demolition of a structure. Other wastes may include shingles, sheetrock, insulation, PVC pipe, etc. Solid Waste Division staff monitors the pile for scrap metal and other items that are not included with C&D. Both brush and C&D need to ground to 2" minus.
