Specifications include, but are not limited to: Applicants will: • identify the In Demand industry sector(s) specific to the RAP partner(s) in the Building and Construction-Related Trades, per the local workforce development area as described in LMI; • describe how the RAP(s) and Grantee will work together to assess the basic skill gaps of participants that need remediation and use that information to inform the design of the program; 11 of 30 • how the RAP(s) are involved in the IET or Bridge Program(s) to support the implementation of the program and facilitate a participant’s enrollment in a RAP at program completion; and • how the RAP(s) are involved in the IET or Bridge Program(s) curriculum development. Outreach and Recruitment Applicants will describe how they will provide: • outreach and recruitment of eligible individuals for the program; • Comprehensive Assessment: including, but not limited to, services to those recruited such as Intake interviews, eligibility testing for basic skills, English language proficiency,and Digital Literacy; career exploration of the RAP(s) occupation, assessment of education and career goals, barriers to enrollment and development of an Individual Training, Education, and Career (ITEC Plan);
