Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Selected company will be responsible for providing speech therapy to students who have qualified to receive speech therapy as designated by the student’s IEP.; • The estimated number of students who are currently not being serviced at this time are approximately 485 district-wide. This number might increase as student referrals are submitted for evaluation to the Special Education department.; • The estimated number of weekly therapy hours will depend on the need of the student. The therapy hours could range from 12 to 18 hours depending on the need of the student and those hours should be inclusive of direct and indirect services.; • Selected company will be responsible for assessing students, monitoring student progress, conducting ARD meetings, providing speech therapy virtually, maintaining student confidentiality, writing IEP goals for speech, provide ongoing communication to Executive of Special Education and/or her designee and progress reporting. This may also include communicating with parent(s)/Families/Guardian(s) of student if deemed necessary by the Special Education department.
