Specifications include, but are not limited to: Product is to be a hot applied polymer modified asphalt with wear resistant aggregates and modifiers designed to fill wide cracks, potholes, rutting and depressed broken-up areas in both asphalt concrete and Portland cement concrete pavements in cold to very cold climates. It may also be used around solid structures in flexible pavements like manholes, gutters, and drains. Product will be supplied in solid form which when melted and properly applied forms a weather resistant, bonded, flexible, durable, traffic resistant repair.; Contractor warrants that the products offered conform to the specifications requested, are fit and sufficient for the purpose manufactured, are of good material and workmanship, and are free from defect. A sample of the material and manufacturer’s certification will be required by the awarded vendor for testing as needed.; Product shall be pre-packed and delivered in block form. Product shall be packaged in consumable packaging that melts at normal operating temperatures without affecting specification performance. Each package shall contain not less than twenty-five (25) pounds or more than sixty (60) pounds of product. Product packages shall be delivered on pallets, which shall remain with the product upon delivery. Net weight per pallet shall be clearly marked. It is the responsibility of the supplier to make the product accessible for unloading to the Department’s forklift from the ground.
