Specifications include, but are not limited to: Software or software as a service (SAS) that monitors a diverse set of social media platforms for local indicators of potential violence or extremism Minimum Capabilities o Must be able to enter search terms that the system will monitor for and alert LE to indicators of potential violence. o Minimum of 5 users capable of using the software or SAS independently o Any services, searches or data stored must be CJIS compliant o All cloud solutions (PAAS, IAAS, SAAS, etc.) must be FEDRAMP compliant. o Systems must keep a log of: how data was obtained including history of search terms and sites viewed who conducted the search o require case number/reference entry prior to allowing searches o capable of searching all major social media platforms and new platforms as they emerge o capable of searching deep and dark web sources o obfuscate the source search identity to include IP address o search internal data to compliment external data searches Preferred Additional Capability o conduct link analysis of found data and export to link analysis software
