Specifications include, but are not limited to: Park Chef; Overtime Park; Chef; Federal Minimum Wage Park Chef; Responsible for all aspects of food and beverage preparation for location, as it relates to the restaurant, catering, and any additional special events on property. Will order all inventory, plan menus, manage kitchen staff schedules, as well as work with Park manager to hire all back of house staff. Create new and innovative menu ideas, and monitor staff to ensure a clean working environment, and that all employees are following serve safe guidelines. Park Chefs will give instruction, guidance and oversight to Assistant Chefs, Cooks, preparation staff and food service workers.; Food Service Worker; Overtime Food Service Worker; Federal Minimum Wage Food Service Worker; May seat guests, operate POS systems, accept payments & serve food to the Kentucky State parks guests via a buffet or sit-down table setting and menu service; aid in kitchen duties; clean/bus food service area/event area, set up/take down responsibilities at the event or venue, stock food preparation supplies, and any other duties as may be required. If this position is involved in the selling, serving, or handling of alcohol the food service worker must be or must obtain S.T.A.R. training certificate upon employment. Parks shall provide their laborers with an appropriate uniform.; Bartender; This service level is responsible for preparing and/or serving alcoholic beverages. Bartenders shall be or must obtain upon employment S.T.A.R. training certificate, professional and have a working knowledge of mixed drinks, bartending services, and etiquette. The bartender shall also be responsible for insuring security of supplies, beverages, and cash (where applicable). Parks shall provide their laborers with an appropriate uniform.; Assistant Chef; This service level reports to the Park Chef and shall be proficient in performance cooking in front of guests in hospitality locations. They shall demonstrate a strong ability to prepare and serve pasta dishes, omelets, protein carving and other action stations as needed. Clean appearance, strong work ethic and the ability to positively interact with guests is required. Assistant Chefs shall possess a current food handlers permit and exercise food safety and sanitation in all tasks. Assistant Chefs will give instruction, guidance and oversight to Cooks, preparation staff and food service workers. Laborer shall be responsible for arriving to work on time and wearing appropriate slip resistant shoes and hair restraints. Staff shall be required to wear chef uniform.
