Specifications include, but are not limited to: This federally funded project will resurface the gravel runway, taxiway, access road, and apron (including safety areas). Improvements include airfield lighting, markings, drainage, dust palliative, and visual NAVAIDS. ; Phase 1 This phase will require partial width runway closure to accommodate embankment fills and lighting system removal. The temporary runway is centered on the embankment (follows the existing runway centerline). The runway width will decrease from 60 feet to 30 feet and the RSA width will decrease from 120 feet to 60 feet. The available runway length for aircraft operations will be 3,230 feet (full length). The Phase 1 temporary taxiway width will be decreased to 25 feet and the TSA will be decreased to 55 feet (also centered on embankment). ; Phase 2 This phase will close the east half of the runway, and north half of the taxiway and apron for construction. The other half of the runway and taxiway, and the remaining apron will be open for operations. The temporary runway width will be 30 feet and the RSA width will be 60 feet. The available runway length for aircraft operations will be 3,230 feet (full length). The temporary taxiway width will be 25 feet and the TSA will be 55 feet. The temporary lighting, markings, and required hazard markings for Phase 2 will be placed as described in Section (3) of this CSPP and as shown in the CSPP drawings.
