Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall repair/rebuild and return to DART all HVAC components, as requested by the DART Materials Management Department.; 1. Per the referenced documentation and the requirements specified within this document, the Contractor shall include within the rebuild service: • disassembling; • cleaning; • inspecting; • rebuilding; • lubricating; • reassembling; • painting (if applicable), and • testing; The bearings and seals shall be removed and replaced with new ones at each rebuild. The motor leads shall also be inspected for cuts in insulation, fasteners, or corrosion and be restored to likenew condition, if needed.; 2. Environmental Conditions: The rebuild shall be performed in a clean, temperature-controlled environment, unless specified otherwise.; 3. Materials: The Contractor shall be responsible for providing materials that meet or exceed the OEM requirements specified in the documentation referenced in Section 1.D.; 4. Process: The rebuild process shall be adhered to, as stated in reference documentation provided in Section 1D. If there is a case when additional parts or inspection/testing criteria warrants further repair outside the scope of the rebuild, DART must be notified and approve all repairs in writing within two (2) days prior to any work being performed.; 5. Tools and Test Equipment: The Contractor shall provide all tools and test equipment necessary to perform the rebuild and testing specified herein. All equipment utilized shall be calibrated and in proper working order. A Winding Analyzer shall be used for the Insulation Test, Winding Test, Hi-Pot Test, and a machine utilizing IRD/CSI software shall be used for the No Load Test, Vibration Test, and Spike Energy Test.; 6. Testing: All testing must be performed in accordance with the referenced documentation and shall include the characteristics and parameters required, per OEM specifications. If test criteria are not shown, references listed in the applicable documents shall be used to determine the acceptable criteria.
