Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Computer Hardware: 1. Computers- The Barrington Police Department intends to procure 15 laptop computers, 14 of which shall be considered rugged or semi rugged laptops. The proposal should allow room to add computers should staffing increase.; 2. Hardware- 14 laptops shall be rugged or semi-rugged, 1 shall be a regular office grade laptop with the same software capabilities as the rugged/semi rugged laptops. Hardware specifications are listed below.; a) Docks – Nine (9) docking stations such as Dell Thunderbolt Dock – WD19TBS; b) Monitors – Sixteen (16) screen size 22-24” monitors with DisplayPort connectivity such as Dell 24 Monitor - S2421HSX or similar model. Monitors must be able to connect directly to the docking stations; 2 monitors per docking station.; c) Rugged Laptop Specifications: - Screen Size – 14” Touch with Anti-Glare Outdoor viewable; - RAM – no less than 16GB (1x16GB) or if supported 32GB (2x16GB) preferable; - CPU – 11th Generation Intel Core i7; - SSD – no less than 512GB NVMe; - Keyboard – Sealed RGB backlit; - Integrated Webcam and Microphone; - Internal Verizon compatible cellular connectivity; - Operating system – Microsoft Windows 11 Pro; - Docking Station – Vehicle mounted docking stations and compatible desktop docking stations. Desktop dock must support dual screens, Ethernet connectivity, USB, and charging.; d) Office Laptop Specifications: - Screen Size – 14”; - RAM – no less than 16GB (1x16GB) or if supported 32GB (2x16GB) preferable; - CPU – 11th Generation Intel Core i7; - SSD – no less than 512GB NVMe; - Keyboard – Standard backlit; - Integrated Webcam and Microphone; - Operating system – Microsoft Windows 11 Pro; - Docking Station –Desktop dock must support dual screens, Ethernet connectivity, USB, and charging.; 3. Printers- The Barrington Police Department intends to procure 8 passenger headrest printers compatible with the laptops purchased. Label Printers- The Barrington Police Department is also looking to purchase 3 new Dymo (or similar) label printers for the Police Department. The vendor selected shall be responsible for installing and programming with the network. Local Printer- The Barrington Police Department is looking to purchase a 3+ paper tray printer for the booking room. The vendor selected will be responsible for installing into the docking station within the booking room and programming to be able to print to any computer on that dock only.; 4. Warranty- Laptops should come with at no less than a three-year full next business day and onsite service warranty with option to keep internal hard drive.; 5. Local Network- The Barrington Police Department has a local network through the Wi-Fi. The network would need to be configured and the connections certified by the vendor. The network shall be private and hidden from all not approved to access the network.
