Specifications include, but are not limited to: The consultant will perform a condition assessment of the existing components at the terminal to determine items that need repair or replacement. This will be followed by a detailed scoping report including preliminary conceptual drawings of all recommended work. This project will include preliminary and final design of all described features and as indicated on the design concept site plan. The site plan attached is the existing site plan at the facility. The location of the new dolphins may need to be relocated along the existing fender line as necessary to reduce conflicts during Construction. The location of the new dolphins will need to be vetted with the Department and AMHS personnel prior to final design. Adjustments to the various features, horizontal location, dimensions, shape, number or type of piles and other features may be needed as the design develop progresses. Services under this contract will include coastal and structural engineering work to determine all environmental forces, vessel berthing and mooring loads and vehicle and other anticipated service loads. The Department will supply AMHS vessel data to the Consultant in order to determine vessel fit-up at the terminal and to determine mooring and berthing loads to the dolphin structures.
