Specifications include, but are not limited to: Docks shall be engineered and built to include: (12) 3’W x 15’L Finger Docks, w/ADA toe rails and handrails. Minimum 8’ between finger dock sections. (1) 8’W x 60’L T-Head Dock w/ADA fishing rails and gate. (1) 5’W x 24’ Aluminum ADA Gangway, and Docks shall be engineered and constructed to provide for future installation of electric and water utilities. Galvanized Steel Truss Frames 12” deep galvanized steel dock frame – for strength and low maintenance. Box truss frame design – to promote load transfer. Main structural frame members shall be a minimum of 2.5” x 2.5” x 3/16” angle iron – for long term system performance. Bolted connection in horizontal plane – added strength for vertical/wave movement. Frame and all metal components hot dip galvanized after all drilling and fabrication to promote durability and long life. Finger frames shall have opposing top diagonal angles for additional structural strength and lateral loading support (no underwater trusses); and Dock must be delivered in modular format in as large of sections that can be delivered on a flat-bed tractor and trailer. All dock and finger dock sections are to be completely assembled including decking, floats, side boards, bumpers, cleats, etc. Railing and gate for T-Head sections shall also be in modular format.
