Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences (UND SMHS) is looking to partner with a search firm to mine properly vetted candidates for the following three positions: Deputy Director of the North Dakota IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) Program; Director for the Center for Rural Health; and Wadhwani Endowed Chair in Translational Research; The search firm will work collaboratively with the faculty recruitment office of Education and Faculty Affairs to ensure proper policies are adhered to, processes followed, and stakeholder inclusion. The search firm will work collaboratively to support the work of the UND SMHS search committee and partners as the UND SMHS will be taking the lead on soliciting input from stakeholders, drafting position descriptions, and surveying faculty as appropriate; The search firm will work in partnership with the UND SMHS on previously drafted position descriptions and engage in direct and indirect recruitment efforts to recruit, vet, interview, and recommend for the consideration of the UND SMHS. The firm will work in partnership to recruit leaders at the UND SMHS regarding logistical details such as candidate scheduling, travel, electronic communications, etc. The search firm will also verify credentials and conduct extensive reference checks of finalists; The search firm shall communicate effectively with the UND SMHS, and ensure that the school is informed about each step in the process; The chosen firm must be able to conduct all three diverse searches simultaneously. The fee proposal should reflect the synergies of conducting all three searches at once. Special consideration will be given to a firm that has a strong track record of working collaboratively with a school’s executive team. Demonstrating a strategic vision for the recruitment process as well as a solid planning process will also be given special consideration.; Preferred characteristics: Expertise in rural health; Expertise in clinical translational research; Expertise recruiting for a community-based medical school; The contractor will be required to provide the following deliverables; Manage the communication plan for the recruitment.; Manage the sourcing of candidates.; Present the search committee with an excellent pool of candidates that meet the requirements of all three positions; The chosen firm must be able to conduct all 3 diverse searches simultaneously; Ability to begin the recruitment process immediately upon execution of the contract; Experiential background and qualifications related to the expectations described above; A list of at least three references who can speak to the ability of the search firm to perform the work required; A detailed outline of the services to be performed; A detailed description of the direct and indirect service costs.; Develop search schedule and timeline; Recommend advertising package including location, frequency, and duration of advertising; Coordinate advertising; Coordinate, in conjunction with Education and Faculty Affairs, the application package; Design the application package to attract a list of high-qualified pool of national applicants
