Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Determine cloud strategy and approach on enterprise level through individual applications • Develop a service menu for cloud operations • Develop baseline cloud standards (ex: immutable architecture, multiple availability zones, CI/DP pipelines, automation, compliance levels, monitoring, security controls) for various categories of applications • Create a financial modeling tool to assist agencies and application understand the true cost of moving to the cloud. • Assist in cost optimization of cloud computing costs. (Ex: help determine schedules, cloud utility purchasing, consolidation, scaling and elasticity, licensing costs) • Recommend appropriate cloud platform for specific applications (Ex: AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare) • Design or Review of technical architectures for public cloud IaaS and PaaS • Architecture creation and deployment of applications within the public cloud • Architecture collaboration and review of partner solutions • Migration of workloads into public cloud • Transformation of workloads already within public cloud • Migration to public cloud IaaS and PaaS, including specific migration strategies for determining appropriateness of cloud migration and recommended approaches. (EX: replatforming, lift and shift using tools like VMWare, refactoring for the cloud, or redesigning applications to be cloud native) • Ongoing management of public cloud IaaS and PaaS • Ongoing management of workloads within public cloud
