Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Under Child Care Apprenticeship, TWC expects to award approximately 10 grants witha 12-month funding period to support the planning and implementation of newregistered apprenticeship programs (RAP) or expansion of existing RAPs.2.Under Shared Services Alliances, TWC expects to award approximately 15 grants acrossTexas for a 24-month funding period ending May 2024, in addition to securing aseparate entity to provide national best practices support, training, and technicalassistance resources for the creation and expansion of shared services alliances amongchild care providers.3.Under Pre-K Partnerships, TWC will collaborate with the Texas Education Agency tosupport the development of Pre-K partnerships between child care providers and publicschool districts, to provide pre-k instruction within the child care setting. By April or Mayof 2024, the initiative aims to increase the number of Pre-K partnership classrooms.
