Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Houston Public Library (HPL) is seeking bid for an online streaming service that is able to provide a collection of children's animated picture books with audio narration, read-alongs, chapter books, graphic novels, puzzles, games and quizzes to library customers, in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions specified in the solicitation. The following are the minimum acceptable specifications: • Offer a system for customers to be able to stream children's animated picture books with audio narration, read-alongs, chapter books, graphic novels • Product includes online educational enrichment tools such as puzzles, games and quizzes • Provide an interface that is easy for children ages 5-12 to navigate • Ability to authenticate customers to ensure they are valid Houston Public Library cardholders using an established library-industry authentication method • Provide unlimited, simultaneous use by Houston Public Library’s authenticated cardholders, both in-library and remotely • Ability to provide usage statistics to include daily, weekly, monthly and annual breakdowns, preferably accessible by library staff • Proven ability to meet library customer needs • 12-month subscription term for service • Have ability to register as a vendor with the City of Houston • Ability to start service June 1, 2022
