Specifications include, but are not limited to: The ETD seeks a comprehensive tracking system to allow ETD to collect various types of information on the condition, operation and use of approximately 40 vehicles owned and operated by ETD. Monitoring via a personal computer of non-resident software is to be real time, with the system capable of providing reports and information that can be batch downloaded into the vehicle maintenance software, RTA, utilized by the ETD when required. In addition, ETD desires that the AVL system be compatible with its demand response scheduling software, Ecolane. Although ETD prefers to contract for one (1) vendor capable of providing all requirements of the vehicle tracking program, ETD will retain the right to select multiple vendors, if it is demonstrated to be in the individual agencies best interests to select multiple vendors.
