Specifications include, but are not limited to: The San Benito Consolidated Independent School District (SBCISD) is accepting proposals for a studentcentered, goal-driven, and systemic comprehensive social service and case management program, designed to address at-risk students’ individual needs, to ensure both student academic and emotional success, by keeping our students in school. The following components should be addressed within the scope of services: 1) conduct an initial needs assessment of the student and family upon referral, 2) develop in collaboration with the student and parents, a service delivery action plan for each student that addresses the following areas: 1) support student and family counseling needs by coordinating services with school counselors, as well as with other outside agencies that provide counseling services, i.e., Tropical Texas, Buckner Children and Family Services, South Texas Bereavement Center, etc., 2) provide College, Military, and Career readiness awareness activities in collaboration with School Counselors, SBCISD Higher Education Coordinator, SBCISD Career and technology Department, as well as with other agencies such as the Texas Workforce Commission, Manpower, etc., 3) address the student’s and family’s Health and Human Services needs by leveraging all available monetary and non-monetary resources from Federal, State, and local entities, 4) include and promote opportunities for awareness, involvement and enrichment for parents and families, by collaborating with School Administration, School Counselors, the SBCISD Family and Community Engagement (FACE) program, and other outside agencies, i.e., Families in Schools, National Dropout Prevention Center, the United Way of America, etc.,
